This unit teaches students the basics of HTML 5 coding to create webpages. Students gain knowledge on commonly used tags that cover titles, paragraphs, lists, lines, headers, breaks, text effects, styles, sizes, colors, page breaks, background colors, symbols, and text alignment. Students learn these skills by completing 10 different activities where students practice coding with an example. Then students have to build their own webpage from scratch. This unit is a great way to introduce HTML5 coding for your students in an easy format. This unit is infused with technology, and real-world application and is designed to be engaging and rigorous.
