Needs, Wants, Goods & Services are a core part of economics. In this 5-Part activity, students will reflect on these areas and how they affect economics. Part 1 students will reflect on how economics affects their everyday life; part 2 students will rate their needs and wants and categorize them into goods or services. In part 3 students will reflect on two local businesses and label their needs, wants, goods, and services. In Parts 4 & 5 students will participate in a class discussion on these topics and complete a reflection. This activity is infused with technology and real-world application and is designed to be engaging and rigorous. This activity is perfect for any business class.
